Ahh! Feeling very paintery today!

As with Niya, I've likewise been testing out more designs for Val here. In Avalonia he is more or less a highly trained elite class of soldier which are assigned to serve one individual for the duration of their lives, fighting to protect their master at all cost.

Much of Valin's past remains a mystery though it is rumored that he war orphaned at a young age when his family was murdered by a barbaric tribe. Perhaps as a result, Val takes death and fighting very seriously, and has only lightened up somewhat after enduring Niya's merciless teasing.

Although she admits he's attractive, Niya is clearly apathetic towards him in the beginning, often sending him on pointless errands so she can sneak off and be alone. Though he is fiercely loyal to his mistress, he is also extremely intelligent and independent, often surprising others with his quick wit and insight.
